![“Looks Like You Got A Diaper” – Jason Kelce Says He’s Not A Fan Of Brazilian Butt Lifts, Explains How To “Build The Wagon Naturally”]()
![Jason Kelce Podcast]()
It's rather easy to write off Brazilian butt lifts based on their aesthetic appearance alone, but Jason Kelce's nuanced take on the matter takes into account the practical physiology of the increasingly popular procedure in a unique way befitting of a former professional athlete.
Speaking with his brother,
Taylor Swift boy toy and three-time Super Bowl champ Travis on their
New Heights podcast, the topic of BBLs came up in reference to Killa Trav's latest off-field venture, hosting an Amazon Prime Video game show titled
Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?
Wednesday marks the premiere of that streaming program, and the Kelce Bros watch a promotional clip in which Travis is caught off guard, blissfully ignorant of what BBLs even are when a contestant says she'll get one if she wins. The contestant says she's trying to, and I quote, "drag a wagon." That's when Jason weighs in with his thoughtful opinion, mere days after
a classic take on male anatomy:
"I'm not gonna lie, I'm not a fan of the BBLs. It looks OK for like a couple of years maybe, but then that thing that starts saggin' and it looks like you got a diaper on the backside of you. It's not a good look.
"[...] Just do some glute bridges! You can build the wagon naturally, you don't need the synthetics. Just doesn't have the right shape. It just looks bad. When the hamstrings don't match your a**, it doesn't look good...You can't just add to the a**, and then you got weak-a** hammies."

See? I think Jason is on to something here. Maybe those considering the procedure should do untold amounts of squats and Romanian deadlifts to get those hamstrings in peak condition and continue hammering those post-op. RDLs for the BBLs. I'm proud of this concept. Trademarking now.
I really do empathize with those who wind up getting BBLs. I feel like their spike in prominence is due to celebrity culture and some distorted view of what genuine beauty is. It's one thing if a woman is older or whatever, but so many young women are doing this, and like Jason Kelce says, the BBL can be only a short-term "fix" to a perceived problem body image area.
But hey, on the other hand, if certain women feel like a BBL makes them more confident and pretty, and the romantic suitors they're after are into the that look, more power to them. This isn't about policing women's decisions about cosmetic surgery. The BBL aesthetic is just not for me, Jason Kelce, and others out there.

Matthew McConaughey weighing in on breast implants from a while back. And in case you're interested, here's an extended look at Trav's new gig.
