Just When You Think You Can’t Dislike Him More, Dallas Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones Landed His Helicopter On The Field During Practice

Come on Jerry, what are we doing here? I get that people in the upper echelons of society behave in ways much different than us average people but sometimes you just have to shake your head. And the Dallas Cowboys' infamous owner Jerry Jones gave us one of those moments yesterday. Obviously, Jerry remains in sports headlines seemingly no matter what he does, like suggesting that no one on earth could do the job he does (despite the Cowboys having not won a Super Bowl since 1996 and only racking up 4 playoff wins since 2000) and talking about a player's large private part, but this one just seems obnoxious and unnecessary. During yesterday's practice, Jerry Jones made everyone stop what they're doing and wait while he had his private helicopter land on the field. The guy who talks about not being able to afford quality players, namely Derrick Henry, while his starting running back is a washed up Zeke Elliott, flashes his money with a stunt like this? Horrible, it's just horrible. You're telling me there was no other place to touchdown other than the field? Get outta here. Granted, I do look for every opportunity to trash anything and everything Cowboys, but this is just far and away unacceptable. Can you imagine Steelers' owner Art Rooney II doing this? No you can't because it would never happen. You stay doing you Jerry because as long as you're there I know the Boys aren't a Super Bowl threat. As a Steelers fan I know this is all going to backfire on me Sunday night but it just needed to be said.
