Costco Clears Their Name After Diddy’s Lawyer Blamed The Store For The 1,000 Bottles Of Baby Oil Found In His Home

Sean "Diddy" Combs

Well that defense fell apart quick. Obviously one of the big stories over the past week or so has been the arrest of rapper Diddy (formerly known as Puff Daddy, and P. Diddy, and Puffy, and Sean Combs...already a little suspicious that this guy keeps changing his name) on some pretty disturbing charges. The rapper and producer has been under heavy fire lately, starting in November of last year when a lawsuit was filed against him by his former girlfriend accusing Diddy of rape, sex trafficking and physical abuse. Since then, numerous other lawsuits have been filed with similar allegations, and earlier this year federal agents raided Diddy’s homes in Los Angeles, New York and Miami in relation to an unspecified investigation. But on September 16, the rapper and founder of Bad Boy Records was finally arrested after being indicted by a grand jury on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. He has since pled not guilty, and the courts have rejected his requests for bail, meaning it looks like he's going to be behind bars at least until his trial. After his arrest, we got a disturbing look at what Diddy's accused of, including holding "freak offs" filled with prostitutes, sexual activity and...whatever else you do at a freak off. And we also got a look at what authorities found when they raided his home - including 1,000 bottles of lube and baby oil. Now, Diddy does have a two-year old daughter, but something tells me that baby oil isn't all for childcare... His lawyer then offered a bizarre explanation for the stash, blaming it on bargain shopping and buying in bulk from Costco. During an interview with TMZ, the disgraced rapper's attorney Marc Agnifilo said: "I mean, he has a big house. He buys in bulk. I think they have Costcos in every place where he has a home. Have you sat in a parking lot of a Costco and seen what people walk out of there with?" https://twitter.com/TMZ/status/1839004687946637400 But Costco is already rushing to clear their good name. In a statement to TMZ, the warehouse store chain confirmed that Diddy didn't get the baby oil from them - because they don't sell baby oil. Their website also confirms that the store sells neither baby oil or lube, so there's no chance that Diddy just happened to stumble on a great deal on 1,000 bottles of baby oil while he was out stocking up on toilet paper. Maybe Diddy shops at Sam's Club? Either way, I think his lawyer might want to find another defense - although in this case I'm not sure that one exists. https://twitter.com/realKraftPunk/status/1839360521046471141
