![Dale Earnhardt Jr. Stayed On Pit Road & Drank Beer Until 2 AM After Finishing The Bristol Xfinity Series Race This Past Weekend]()
![Dale Earnhardt Jr]()
Nothing like cracking a cold one after a hard day's work.
Of course most of us don't stay at the office and drink until 2 AM after we finish work. But then against most of our offices aren't as cool as Junior's.
This past weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway,
Dale Earnhardt Jr. made what could be his final
NASCAR start of his career when he ran the Cheddar's 300 for the Xfinity Series.
It was an eventful race for Junior, who was plagued by radio problems for much of the race (including at one point dropping his radio into his water bottle holder and somehow losing his water bottle - if you haven't listened to his radio from the race, it's pretty funny).
All in all though, he had a good race and ended up finishing 7th in the one race he's planning on running this year.
Since retiring from full-time Cup Series racing in 2017, Junior has only run one or two Xfinity Series races a year, and ahead of this year's race he revealed that he has no plans to run in 2025 - so it's possible that this was his last ever NASCAR race.
And after the race, Junior wasn't in any hurry to get home.
Once the race was over, the 15-time NASCAR Most Popular Driver hung out on pit road with a cooler of beer and signed autographs for any fan who wanted one. And once that cooler ran out...well, he got another delivery:

Accompanied by his wife and friends, it sounds like Junior and his crew had quite a night - and he revealed on his podcast that he ended up staying at the track until 2 AM.
"We drank all this beer. There was about, what, a dozen to 20 of us...
We stayed up 'til about 2 in the morning."
But that wasn't the end of the party: After that, they all moved back to Junior's camper and kept drinking until 4 in the morning.
Of course we already know that Junior can put away some beer. When he was driving the Budweiser car, he used to have so much beer delivered to his house that the distributor thought he was selling it. But he doesn't get to go to as many races and hang out these days, so clearly he wanted to make the most of his time at the track:
"I was just like all the other guys back in the day when I was racing in the Cup Series. Race is over, you're getting your ass out of there. And I don't know why we didn't hang around. I don't know why we didn't crack a beer and just take our time."
If that was in fact Junior's last race, at least he kept the party going as long as he could.
