MAMA KELCE FROM THE TOP ROPE.
As a parent, you want nothing more than to see your children lead good, joyful lives and succeed in whatever it is they end up doing. Donna Kelce has been pretty fortunate as a parent, considering her two kids will go down as NFL Hall of Famers.
And one of them is dating the biggest pop star on the planet.
Despite all of the success - both in football and in podcasting with the Kelce brothers' show
New Heights - Travis Kelce is still interested in branching out into some other areas. Honestly, he's probably prepping for a career after football, especially with the success his brother Jason has had seamlessly shifting into media coverage for the NFL.
So Travis decided to take a chance and join onto a drama series titled
Grotesquerie, which will be a 10-episode story that airs on FX. Kelce reportedly plays a "charming bed nurse" in a story that's described as the following:
"A detective and a nun investigate a series of heinous crimes that seem personal, while grappling with personal issues and uncovering a sinister web that raises more questions than answers."
Sounds enthralling.
From what has come out about the show so far, Kelce took the role very seriously, and was a class act while on set filming the show. However, it's yet to be discovered if his manicured approach to his part will pay off, and according to some recent words from his mother - Donna Kelce - Travis might still have some work to do in the acting department.
Though Donna did admit that she was proud of him for getting the gig in the first place when she spoke with Variety about the new show:
"I know he wanted to do this, and I know he can manifest things. He has no fear of trying things, and he has no fear of failure."
Yeah, I'd argue that there's not a lot that could scare an NFL player, especially those who catch "hospital balls" streaking across the middle of the field (hospital balls means throws that could get them hit really hard).
Though Mama Kelce had that nice thing to say, she paired it with quite the condescending comment about Travis' performance in the show. It's unclear if she's even watched it, but Donna provided this line that might lead one to assume the tight end didn't do all that great with his debut role:
"You know, sometimes parents want to fix things for their kids. But sometimes it’s better to just let them fail. You learn the most from things you don’t do well. Hopefully, if this is something he wants to do, he’ll get better at it."

Oof... some tough love from Donna Kelce.
And while we're on the topic of horror and Travis Kelce... you know what's
really scary? How little the Kansas City Chiefs have been able to utilize Kelce. Owners of number 87 in fantasy football should look away now so they don't see the star tight end's totals through the first three weeks of the NFL season:

Good luck topping that level of scary
Grotesquerie...
