You've got to be pretty brave to mess with Motor City Dan Campbell.
I wouldn't ever do anything to get on his bad side. He's a scary man that drinks way too much coffee, lifts more than enough weights, and instills a whole lot of fear in those who face off against him. Despite all of those characteristics, some upset Detroit Lions fans decided to wrong MCDC last season - and now the head coach is having to deal with the repercussions of it.
According to reports, Dan Campbell is selling his $4.5 million Michigan home - which boasts five bedrooms and seven bathrooms - because he's concerned about he and his family's safety. That's because following the Lions loss in the NFC Championship last season, fans of the Lions figured out where he lived, and that's apparently led to security concerns.
A prankster even sent a bunch of contractors to his house who thought they were there to make repairs.
Campbell told Crains Detroit that it's a beautiful home that he's really appreciated, but he can't go on with people knowing where he lives:
"There’s plenty of space, it’s on two acres, the home is beautiful. It’s just that people figured out where we lived when we lost."

Within 24 hours of listing the home, the Bloomfield Hills property was changed from "For Sale" to "Pending." Though the identity of the buyer who scooped up the home has not been released, the realtor that showed the house suggested that they were big fans of the Detroit Lions.
Admittedly, it would be pretty cool to watch a Lions game from the house where Dan Campbell used to live.
Whoever it is, they'll be able to enjoy the 7,800 square foot home and the two acres that the home sits on. Hopefully they'll be able to put up with all of those who pass by and say, "That's where Motor City Dan Campbell used to live!"
And it appears that Dan Campbell will now have to go house hunting right in the middle of the NFL season. If there's anybody that can juggle those two tasks - all while biting the kneecaps of those who wrong him - it would be MCDC.
The listing says the home features:
"Unparalleled privacy on a lush, wooded 1.72-acre lot. This 7,779-square-foot home features 5 spacious bedrooms and 7.2 luxurious baths, blending modern elegance with timeless design."
Unparalleled privacy, eh?
Nice lookin' house though:
