I mean, have you ever had a Tudor's biscuit?
If you're from West Virginia, Ohio or Kentucky (or strangely Panama City Beach, Florida), you probably know all about Tudor's Biscuit World. As a West Virginian myself, I can confidently say that Tudor's has the best biscuits, and the best overall breakfast, that I've ever had.
With creations named after local football teams and creations like the Mountaineer and the Thundering Herd, Tudor's has built up a cult following in the Mountain State. And for good reason: I have to have Tudor's every time I go back to WV to visit my family.
So it's no surprise that Marshall University football coach Charles Huff is using Tudor's to help him recruit players to the Thundering Herd.
Marshall plays Ohio State this weekend, and obviously it's going to be an uphill battle for the Herd. But in this new era of NIL, when teams are battling to entice players to come to their school, Coach Huff is extending an offer to Ohio State players: All you can eat biscuits.
"We'd love to have some of those guyss from Ohio State down, so if they want to transfer on down, we've got a Tudor's Biscuit NIL. All you can eat. So if any of those guys that run really, really fast at Ohio State like Tudor's Biscuits, I promise you, all you can eat, all day if you transfer here."
I mean sure, other schools are giving recruits Lamborghinis and stacks of cash. But when you're a smaller program you've got to find other ways to stay competitive - and all you can eat biscuits is a pretty good deal.
