OK before we get too far down that satirical rabbit hole and anger misogynists and feminists alike, I think I speak for everyone when I say we can appreciate any warm-blooded American upholding their end of a bet, no matter how daring. The USA Solheim Cup duo of Alison Lee and Megan Khang decided that, instead of a $500 reward for a hole-out from the fairway on Saturday, they'd have their male caddies go topless if said hole-out came to pass. For those who don't know, the Solheim Cup is the ladies' version of the Ryder Cup — and that extends to the results of the international competition, too. Team Europe has owned the USA of late, retaining the Cup at the last three Solheims. Thanks in part to Lee's hole-out, though, the Americans are turning the tide. Lee and Khang are 2-up through 10 holes of their Saturday fourball match against Europe's Anna Nordqvist and Madelene Sagstrom. The USA leads overall by a score of 8-4, with a shot to build a massive lead heading into Sunday Singles. That'd obviously be huge given the recent history of how the Solheim Cup has gone. Plus, the general vibes of cig-smoking Charley Hull and Team Europe's camaraderie can't be underestimated, despite their backs being against the wall at the minute. Since the caddies had to go shirtless, I think the very least Khang or Lee can do on Sunday is pull a Brandi Chastain if the USA takes back the Cup.
