![Tyreek Hi celly]()
If not for
Scottie Scheffler, Sunday's
bizarre arrest of Tyreek Hill near Hard Rock Stadium would've been a lot more shocking.

The Miami Dolphins seemed to be sleepwalking for much of Sunday's Week 1 showdown with the Jacksonville Jaguars, but you can always count on The Cheetah to provide a spark at a team's most desperate hour. That came in the form of an 80-yard catch-and-run touchdown, courtesy of a perfect delivery from Tua Tagovailoa.
Tyreek doesn't need much daylight to take it to the end zone on any given play. You can see that on this play, but the most notable part about it is how the speedster celebrated the occasion — with a mock handcuff gesture, of course:

Sometimes these creative celebration stunts can go wrong. For instance, Tyreek snatched a phone from a bystander to take a selfie after a TD last season, only for
that NFL photographer type to lose his job for providing the prop. Other than causing a little bit of embarrassment at the expense of local law enforcement, I don't anticipate the league office taking much issue with what Tyreek did here. It was clearly an overreaction for him to be arrested in the first place.
Damn y'all. I'm sorry. I'm utterly distraught from the Bengals losing again and Joe Burrow not looking like he's as healthy as everyone said he was coming into Week 1. Getting beaten down this badly right out the gates is tough.
Alright cutting back to the Dolphins. As foolishly bullish as I was on Cincinnati, it feels like some vindication to see Miami — who many believe will regress in 2024 — rally back to beat the Jags 20-17 thanks to Jason Sanders' game-winning field goal.

'Reek helped lead the way seven catches for 130 yards. Quite impressive considering the eventful morning he had. You hate to see someone handcuffed unnecessarily, but good on Tyreek for having a good sense of humor about it to make it into a joke when he proceeded to do his job at an elite level like he does damn near every Sunday.
