No need to change your story on who your favorite wide receiver is.
If you're a fan of Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase, why wouldn't you just let that be known? Especially if you are a kid that was asked by Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill who you look up to at the receiver position. The easy answer - and one that you should probably give when talking face-to-face with "The Cheetah" - would be Hill.
But this kid is built different.
All of this went down at a Soul Runner Speed Academy event, which is apparently also just referred to as The Speed Academy. If you were curious as to what that it is, it's basically an organization that helps the youth involved in sports maximize their speed and agility. The
academy describes their concept as the following (and also plug that they help coach Tyreek Hill):
"The Speed Academy, Inc. was constructed on the concept that although speed cannot be taught, it can be enhanced through professional training and technique modifications. Through football and speed camps, as well as a personal training component, The Speed Academy specializes in providing top tier camps for children between the ages of 6 and 17. With The Speed Academy, campers have access to coaches and personal trainers who personally train the NFL’s Fastest Man, Tyreek Hill."
Gotta add in the successful cliental there at the end to give the kids (and parents) participating in the academy some hope.
But anyways, it appears The Speed Academy was having a meet-and-greet style event with Tyreek Hill, where kids involved in the program got to hear the NFL speedster talk about training and even ask Hill questions. Or in the case of the clip below, tell the Dolphins wide receiver about their own athletic abilities.
The kid stands up during the Q&A period and basically tells Tyreek that he plays a lot of sports. Playing off of the situation, Hill then decides to ask the kid a question, and finds out that the young athlete plays football and is a wide receiver. The Dolphins star then lobbed up a softball question, inquiring about who the kid might look up to at the wide receiver position. And how did the young man answer?
"Ja'Marr Chase."
