![1998 Tesla Cybertruck]()
This is Facebook Marketplace gold.
The world of Facebook Marketplace sometimes doesn't feel real. As a frequent user of the platform myself, I have bought anything from boots, furniture, and items for my horse to leather goods and more. It really is a one-stop shop and a goldmine of items many would spend hours scouring for estate sales or vintage shops.
However, Facebook Marketplace also has its deep pockets like many other sides of the internet, and you can find some truly weird yet hilarious listings, which is exactly what I present to you today.
Either this man thought he was doing something with this listing or has a superior sense of humor. I give you the vintage Tesla Cybertruck. The Cybertruck experienced delays in being delivered to customers who ordered the alien-like-looking pickup truck, with the official rollout being in 2023. The all-electric vehicle features many aspects that Tesla drivers know and love but with the functionality of a pickup truck.
(Side note: I don't personally agree with that last sentence, but that is how they are marketing it, so I am just here to report the facts. I'll believe it has the same functionality when I see one putting a gooseneck trailer.)
But this man who shared a 1998 "Cybertruck" looks like it could compete with a Ford F150. A Georgia man posted a STEAL listing the vehicle for $5,800 with a mere 225,000 miles on it. AND it comes with a clean title. Talk about a gem of a Facebook Marketplace find.
And how
amazing it would be to say you own a "Cybertruck" model before they went all electric!

After seeing this listing, I wondered if anyone else was bold enough to post a Cybertruck dupe on Facebook Marketplace. Lo and behold, there were others, and this listing was even better.
A Utah man listed a Cybertruck that genuinely looks like a dumpster with wheels for a mere $149,000. Given that the top-of-the-line Cybertruck today goes for $100,000, I think that may be a tough sell for this man, but hey, it looks a heck of a lot more functional than Elon's model.
Stainless, eh?

God, I love the internet. Check out some of the other "Cybertrucks" dupes out there.
